WELCOME MESSAGE
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to SKICON 2025 - the First Annual
Meeting
of the Society of Knee Surgeons of India (SKI) - being held at the vibrant city
of
Hyderabad, from November 14th to 16th, 2025.
This inaugural meeting is not just a conference. It is the beginning of a bold
and focused
journey - a national platform exclusively for knee surgeons, created to foster
excellence,
learning, and leadership in this super-specialty.
The theme, “Controversies and Consensus,” reflects the dynamic reality of modern
knee
surgery. As techniques evolve, technologies emerge, and paradigms shift, we
often find
ourselves balancing between what’s new and what’s right. This conference aims to
engage with these debates head-on - through high-level scientific sessions, live
surgeries, case-based panels, and open-floor discussions led by some of the most
respected names in our field.
It is heartening to see such overwhelming enthusiasm from senior mentors, rising
stars,
and dedicated practitioners alike. Your participation is what gives SKI
its strength and purpose.
I thank each of you for being a part of this historic moment. May this meeting
ignite ideas,
forge collaborations, and reaffirm our shared commitment - to science, to skill,
and above all, to the well-being of our patients.
DR. ASHOK RAJGOPAL
President,
Society of Knee Surgeons of India (SKI)
